Field Supervisor

LCF is a national provider of professional communication services to the telecommunication and utility industry for network infrastructure build-outs and ongoing network maintenance. We are looking for an OSP Field Supervisor for full-time work for a project in Michigan
Job Responsibilities
• Plan and lay-out work for job crews to complete.
• Read and interpret engineered prints
• White-line, call in, and coordinate locates
• Maintain and provide daily job progress reports
• Work with PMs to ensure jobs timely completion.
• Lead, Encourage and Inspire construction teams.
• Daily communication with customers and upper management.
• Resolve problems in the field with crews, subs, or customer.
• Direct crews and make sure they are following SOW and are on budget
• Inspect work and QC all jobs
• Ensure that proper OSHA approved safety procedures are being followed.
• Manage crews to ensure productively goals are maintained.
• Assist Managers with close outs for jobs and billing requirements.
• Able to perform Manager's duties when required.
Minimum Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with underground construction, aerial construction, fiber and coaxing splicing.
• Experience with managing utility construction crews in the field.
• Able to read and interpret engineer's drawing
• Ability to effectively use math skills to calculate figures for jobs.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft products as Excel, Word, outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Able to work nights or weekends and in all weather conditions.
• Able to climb ladders and lift 50lbs
• Must always follow safety rules.
• CDL
• Osha 10 and or Osha 30 certified preferred
• Reports to Construction Manager
