Volt is immediately hiring for Field Service Technicians in Continental USA. You will have a chance to work with a growing manufacturer of state-of-the-art packaging and filling machinery!
Any candidate with automated beverage filling industrial line experience will be considered that is within 1 hour of an airport in order to travel to customer locations.
As a Field Service Technician you will: Complete service at customer's plants including installation, repair or troubleshooting to packaging equipment. Instructing maintenance and operating personnel in the proper operating and maintenance procedures, as well as, safety, clean-up procedures for packaging equipment. In-depth knowledge of packaging equipment, maintenance and general industrial maintenance techniques. Packaging line mechanical knowledge of general functions of automated machinery. Be able to work independently on installations, upgrades, and overhauls for packaging equipment. 85-90% travel
This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Qualifications for this role: 2+ years experience in machine maintenance, preferably in the packaging industry:
Blow mold machinery, Filler, labeler, capper, palletizer, etc Solid mechanical/pneumatic knowledge. Must be able to read blueprints and be familiar with the metric system. PLC: Siemens and Rockwell programing experience preferred Able to travel to customer locations for equipment installations: 85-90% travel Salary: $28.00-36.00/hour. Review after 6 months! OT Weekly
