Responsibilities
• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches• Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test tasks• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions• Train customer personnel in the use of equipment• Supervise and/or install and service equipment• Travel throughout North America and worldwide when required• Lead training sessions at Service Seminars or at customer facilities• Liaise with engineering to find appropriate solutions for field equipment failures and process improvements• Assist local service companies with complications• Implement design changes in the field and diagnose unit control problems• Lead trainer Service Technician Apprentices in the field, office environment, or on the test line• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace and service vehicle
Requirements
• Two-year degree or comparable experience required• Minimum Class II EPA certification and 10+ years' experience with Cascade Refrigeration and complex Electrical systems• Working knowledge of CRM database and Visual Manufacturing to review and enter data• Working knowledge of computer systems, e.g. Industrial Engineering drives, latest version of Windows OS, MS Outlook, and Word, Excel, and PowerPoint• Ability to perform simple math functions• Must be capable of driving a forklift• Knowledge of electrical safety policies, including lock-out/tag-out, and EPA refrigeration certification
