Responsibilities
• Travel to customers' site to setup, repair equipment, and conduct service and training tasks• Troubleshoot equipment, identify and resolve issues• Test equipment to ensure it performs according to best practices• Evaluate equipment functionality and propose continuous improvements• Analyze customers' requirements and propose equipment solutions• Support customers remotely and in person on equipment operation and troubleshooting• Solve and facilitate customer service issues• Assist with machine assembly, testing, training, and quality control• Perform duties related to special projects• Write field service reports
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent• Technical skills in mechanical, electrical, and automation• 7 years manufacturing experience (preferred)• 5 years experience in assembly and/or service of industrial equipment• Knowledge of line packaging or related equipment (preferred)• Ability to read engineering drawings• Skills with automation and IT equipment, PLC and HMI• Excellent communication skills• Ability to handle customer situations professionally• Ability to articulate situations back to headquarters• Ability to think on your feet and provide solutions• Resourcefulness and troubleshooting ability• Ability to work independently and in a team• Initiative and willingness to learn and grow• Prior experience in machine installation & servicing• Valid driver's license and ability to travel freely across the USA• Valid passport and authorized travel to Canada
