listed as but not limited to: Physician Relations, Medical Education, Global Field Training, Clinical Research, Research and Development, Regulatory and Legal.A DAY IN THE LIFE - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Physician and Field Training / Education (50%)PhysicianCoordinate and Assist the Medical Education team with Physician Training occurring in their DistrictFacilitate and conduct entirelocalphysician training within the District when a proctor is not availableFormally present product and implant best practices to the physicians during local trainingServe as a proctor, particularly when a physician proctor is not available.FieldSpokesperson related to procedural expertise and updated best practices within regionDevelops therapy and device operational knowledge and applies this knowledge to processes and initiatives in support of procedural excellenceServe as the District Expert and function as the District Lead for simulationCollaborates with the Global Field Education to roll out new product training initiatives; new products' indications, troubleshooting/tips and tricks, safety updates - "Train the Trainer"New Employee trainingPoint person responsible for the depth and consistency of all new field employees within the districtOn-boarding of new field based employeesArrange and lead group case observationsConduct case reviews, mock examsImaging and executive summary trainingResident and Fellow Training(20%)Take a leadership role in ensuring that outgoing fellows are familiar, facile, and comfortable in using Medtronic's TAVR technologyIdentify and target each Structural Heart teaching institutionWork with local TC and TDS to set up various fellows training opportunitiesInteract with the Program Directors and Chief Resident to create a customized training programSecure outside faculty and simulators for the training, as needed.Share best practices and experiences with the FCL teamWork with other MDT divisions to help tie in relative technologyIdentify and transition final year fellows to the new local Medtronic teamSales and TDS support (20%)Support local sales management in presenting the technology to potential new to TAVR sitesConduct case support for difficult or unusual casesOverread, size, interpret and advise on difficult imagining studiesClinical Research (10%)Primary point of contact for in-house clinical team as it relates to clinical trial activities within regionTrack and provide data collecting support for ongoing clinical studies as requested by Clinical ResearchDevelops and maintains clinical acumen to understand and translate procedure requirements in compliance with clinical protocolsProvides guidance to regional field team regarding device ordering, storage and accountability for clinical trial sites within regionActs as a liaison with in-house clinical team when resolving procedure/device-related PXM events and/or device management questionsFacilitates and/or redirects clinical trial questions to in-house teamMUST HAVE – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUMEMinimum High School degree or GEDCardiac Operating Theatre and/or Cath Lab experienceMinimum High School degree or GEDPrevious experience training medical staff and physicians on complex proceduresExperience supporting implants/procedures of complex medical devicesExperience with Echo or CT Imaging11 years' experience in a clinical setting with a High School degree OR 10 years' experience in a clinical setting with an Associate's degree OR 8 years' experience in a clinical setting with a Bachelor's degreeDESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (optional):Bachelor's DegreeTAVR experienceCurrent CoreValve Sr TDS or higher in good standingPrimary Case Support for 400 cases Experience with Alternative Access ImplantsHistory of Volunteering to help with case coverage outside of normal territoryExperience leading education and training activitiesThe successful candidate will preferably have experience in marketing new technologies and therapiesStrong knowledge of congenital heart disease managementStrong interpersonal and communication skillsUnderstanding of medical device sales processAbility to work independently and with minimum supervision;
