12 Month Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Farmer 2 supports the Knott Dairy by completing tasks involving care and feeding of livestock, along with maintenance and upkeep of animal housing facilities and pastures. Incumbent will safely operate and maintain farm equipment such as tractors, trucks, skid steers, loaders, forage choppers, bedding blowers, and other farm implements. Facilities maintenance may include building and or maintaining fencing, facilities, pens, feeding and hauling devices, and ensuring grounds are kept clean. May lead or supervise lower level staff when needed.
Required Qualifications: Two years of experience in farm work or maintaining livestock; OR equivalent education/experience.
