Facility Mechanic

SUMMARY:Troubleshoots variety of equipment used in softgel manufacturing and facility/building systems including HVAC and industrial dehumidification systems. Replace worn parts, repair and maintain machines.Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-3:30Payrate $25hrEDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:Ø Experience in a GMP regulated environment desired and must have worked as a mechanic for manufacturing equipmentØ Strong technical ability and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and HVAC systems proficientlyØ High school or technical school diploma. With Strong math and reading skills essential.?Ø Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience as a Mechanic in the pharmaceutical dosage environment is a plusØ Must have strong verbal and written command of the English Language.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC technician to install, maintain and repair industrial equipment and HVAC systems skilled in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems. Responsible for air quality, dehumidification, and water purification systems from installation to end-of-life by performing maintenance and emergency repairs promptly and efficientlyDiagnosing, maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical faults for industrial equipment and HVAC systems.Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.Proficient in reading schematics and work plansTests equipment for quality operation when maintenance is completed.?Advises supervisors of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action required.?Basic three phase electrical knowledge. Good mechanical skills. Basic machine shop, welding skills. Work with minimum supervision to complete assigned tasks.Ability to be stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and work outdoors as needed.Be open to a shift transition and overtime.
