Facility Assessor

Job summary
The Facility Condition Assessor will perform building evaluations and assessments.This includes Facility Condition Assessments, energy audits, and accessibility assessments.They will work on commercial, institutional, and municipal facilities.

Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site inspections and building condition assessments.• Perform space utilization planning and analysis.• Document findings and provide recommendations for repairs and replacements.• Review property records and conduct interviews with relevant individuals.• Complete facility condition assessment reports using asset management software.• Meet productivity and report quality objectives.• Enhance professional knowledge and comply with legal requirements.• Deliver outstanding customer service and work overtime when required.• Operate a computer and electronic tablet efficiently.• Travel approximately 50% of the time to client sites.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.• Minimum of 2 years of field experience or proven work experience.• Certifications in Facility Design, Building Construction, Assessments, or Maintenance Management.• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.• Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses.• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.• Ability to climb ladders and work in mechanical and electrical spaces.• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.• Experience with facility or building assessment preferred.
