About the Role: Our client is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their expanding Pipelines & Facilities team in Houston. In this role, you will oversee, direct, and coordinate all aspects of Pipelines & Facilities projects. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring project success, and driving growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and engage in contract negotiations. Develop and nurture client relationships to foster repeat business and expand service offerings. Manage projects from inception to completion, including planning, engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout. Monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control costs effectively. Oversee internal project financials, staffing, risk management, and compliance. Act as the primary point of contact with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Coordinate project communication and implement quality assurance/control measures. Direct and coordinate activities across multiple disciplines on projects of moderate scope. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in project management within the Gas, Transmission & Distribution industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise innovative solutions. Demonstrated success in project management, including proposal development, contract negotiations, and client coordination. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information effectively. Previous consulting experience preferred; Professional Registration is a plus. Expertise in project management methodologies and tools such as Microsoft Project.
