This team member will join a 6-person facilities operations team supporting the Lucid HQ's campus. The role includes service vendor management (pest control and shredding) along with a variety of maintenance tasks.  It is helpful if this candidate has experience in light plumbing, a general assembly of some furniture, installing whiteboards, etc.  Occasionally this candidate will assist the OPS team with event set-ups, etc.  At this HQ location, the candidate will support groups who range from C-level to vehicle showroom, R&D vehicle build and general office.This is a 100% onsite role in Newark, CA.The RoleConduct routine inspections of the building and undertake basic repairs, as required.Ability to install equipment according to manufacturer instructions with owner's guidance.Assist Facilities team routinely with Costco food stocking.Maintain conference room furniture set-up and/or repairs as needed.Oversee contractors when third-party repairs are necessary including sign-off of completed work.Fulfill miscellaneous requests as they arise.Building Services:Light PlumbingPest service: Oversee routine visits and coordinate any special pest requests.Shred-It: Ensure Shred-it bins are emptied on a recurring basis. Order and place new Shred-It bins on a by-request basis.Basic maintenanceFurniture set-up or move furniture.Install acrylic shields on desks.Furniture, shelving, etc. basic assembly- As needed.Hang whiteboards and monitors.Replace batteries in faucets.Coordinate special requests with the day porters, as needed.Assist with new office set-ups: Place and/or install whiteboards, power strips, trash cans, organizers, etc.Assist to set-up and/or canceling recurring services such as pest and Shred-it.QualificationsA minimum of two years of college or trade school preferred and/or 5 years' experience in Facilities.Effective communication skills, fluent English skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work with all levels of employees, including senior management, and process confidential information ·Attention to detail and proven ability to get the job done ·Dependable, self-starter, proactive, adaptable, timely and deadline-focused ·PC skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel and WordStrong analytical skills and proven organizational ability.Customer service oriented with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Adaptability to respond to company requirements as they evolve on an as needed basisThis individual needs to be a team player, detail-oriented, strong work ethic, ability to utilize independently good judgment skills, be diplomatic in resolving complaints, proactive with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and is energetic and enjoys what they are doing.
