Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g., construction, electrical, heating ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.) providing preventive maintenance services. Maintenance Technician I  also performs general cleaning and other tasks as assigned to ensure minimal interruption to the operations of the facility. Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to meet required regulations and scheduling Perform maintenance skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting on production and building equipment Perform building related installation and maintenance including, but not limited to furniture assembly, data/ power installations, plumbing and lighting repair Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed Maintain interior and exterior of property Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities Monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications Keep areas clean and organized, including cleaning dock levelers, dock bays, pressure washing building surfaces, cleaning HVAC systems (interior and exterior) maintaining a clean maintenance department Assist and respond immediately to emergency situations and customer service requests as assigned Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks Operate a forklift, aerial lift, and heavy equipment to assist in heavy lifting maintenance procedures and repairs Function as liaison with outside vendors as needed Communicate daily with Maintenance Supervisor and team with respect to repairs, faulty operations, defective materials, or parts and incident reports when necessary Any other duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience: High School Diploma 1-2 years of related experience This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test Preferred Skills and Experience: Vocational Certification Physical Demands and Work Environment :
