onsemi is seeking a Facilities maintenance mechanic, in our Gresham, OR site, you will report directly to the facilities manager and will be required to perform a variety of preventative and corrective maintenance activities to support the facility.
This opportunity is for a night shift position following a compressed work week schedule (12hr shifts), 7:00pm - 7:06am, with the expectation to be flexible and cover vacations/callouts on opposing shifts. Responsibilities include: Works on moderately complex assignments where judgmentis required to resolve problems and make recommendations. Support the maintenance, operation, and repair of all systems, subsystems, and equipment within the onsemi campus. Ensure all equipmentand associated subsystems are operational and maintained. Evaluate the operation of all systems and associated subsystems, identifyspecific process improvementneeds and provide recommendations for system upgrades. Perform Confined Space Entry on an as needed basis. Perform troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment. Utilize CMMS software to document and report all maintenance activities and complete maintenance activities and documentation in a timelymanner. Work near hazardous chemicals, high- and low-temperature liquids, gases, and machinery/equipment. Provide diagnostics, repair, and modifications of industrial Equipment. Work directly with Facilities Engineering on systeminstallations or modifications which may maximizeequipment efficiencies and or reliability. Control room operations and responsibilities to monitor plant operations and react to complex issues that may arise. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems including chilled and hot water, process cooling water, compressed air, exhaust systems, fire suppression systems, cleanroom, and non-cleanroom HVAC equipment. onsemi (Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future. Qualifications High School Diploma orGED. Minimum of 2 years related experience. Able to work B shift (works every other Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues - 7:00 PM - 7:06 AM), with the expectation to cover other shifts based on business needs. Skills Required Must be able to stand/work for up to 12 hours, liftand carry up to 50Ibs. Willing and able to perform work from a ladder or man lift. Able to operate motorized vehicles, Trucks, Forklifts, Person Lifts Must be able to work from detailed blueprints, drawings, sketches, technical manuals, buildingcodes. Able to follow work orders and written or verbal instructions. Ability to buildand sustain positiveand collaborative working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, peers, customers, and constituents. Able to act independently to determine methods andprocedures on new or special assignments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Ability to navigate MicrosoftOffice products
