This is accomplished through continuous improvement and development of skills associated with the I&C trade. In this role you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of the monitoring and control equipment. Additional responsibilities include serving as a resource for engineering and operations, subject matter expert for internal customers, and maintaining maintenance records for accurate tracking.Responsibilities and TasksMaintain Site Facilities Instrumentation and Controls SystemsDemonstrate operational knowledge of all control systems and associated equipment.Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of other facility systems such as UPW, IWTP, acid exhaust, CDA, scrubbers, etc.Perform basic to sophisticated level solving on all MTV I and C equipment and process controls. Install, test, and modify FMCS systems and components in accordance with technical documents, blueprints, schematics and drawings.Must have general knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems.Will need general knowledge of electrical systems, MCC, AFD, UPS.Perform required calibrations of all site analyzers, and monitoring devices to ISO standards. E.g., pressure, temperature, pH, flow, humidity.Must have experience using Volt/Ohm meter, Fluke 744, 754, and/or Beamex MC6 Documenting Process Calibrators and related components.Perform Inspections for new installations and remodel work at MTV to ensure Code compliance and alignment to Micron specifications.Read and understand blueprints, one-line drawings, P and IDs and schematic diagrams.Support Safety, Environmental, Health, and Security StandardsAchieve and maintain 100% completion of assigned EHSS training.Follow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.Follow safe work practices.Perform safety analysis (Job Hazard Analysis) as the need arises.Be proactive in reducing incidents of personal injury, safety hazards, or environmental releases.Must be able to use the appropriate PPE required for the work being performed.Develop Technical Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesParticipate in provided vendor training.Learn, understand, and follow manufacturer's recommendations.Author, review, and update procedures.Set up and operate field test equipment such as a Fluke 744, Altec current loop calibrator, Altec RTD calibrator and HART communicator.Lead and Supervise the Installation of New EquipmentPerform acceptance test on new equipment.Monitor installations for compliance to codes and standards.Participate in Continuous Improvement and Reliability InitiativesSuggest and perform upgrade of obsolete equipment.Participate in focus groups with engineering and other teams.Participate in Total Productive Maintenance program.Analyze equipment performance to evaluate efficiencies.Maintain Equipment and System Maintenance RecordsComplete data logs in Maximo and other applications used for tracking maintenance.Create presentations via Microsoft Office applications.Review and update records relative to assets.Review and update spare parts inventory lists.EducationRequired: High School Diploma or GED, 1 year Technical Trades program certificateDesired: Associates of Applied Sciences degree (Electrical or Electronics) – or- Equivalent Military trainingISA CCST Level 1As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
