Summary:
Facilities Engineer with either Electrical and/or Mechanical, HVAC maintenance experience is needed to monitor power (BAS, EMS, BMS and other critical facility systems in order to provide support for dynamic solar module manufacturing company.
This is a 50% "hands-on" operating- troubleshooting/repair position. The candidate will be responsible for initial diagnosing, troubleshooting and/or repairs depending on the issue. Candidates should have either maintenance, mechanical, HVAC, CRAC, electrical, critical facility system, or building operations background so they can recognize and diagnose any problems or issues. Once the problem is identified, they will troubleshoot/repair, or contact third-party vendor accordingly and notify management.

Responsibilities
:Experience with Maintenance, Mechanical (HVAC, Chillers, Boiler, DI water, Cooling Towers, compress air, and/or "free air" fan exhaust systems) or Electrical systems (ATS, Switch gear, Transformers) within either Commercial Building s , Manufacturing Facilities or other large facility buildings with critical facility systems
.Should understand maintenance in either HVAC, mechanical, electrical or power concepts
.Familiar with any BAS, BMS and/or EMS system
.Certifications are a plus

Qualification
s:Bachelor Degr
ee5+ years of commercial facilities experience, including working with commercial building equipment and 480v system
s.Working knowledge of building automation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and Life Safety Systems. Ability to perform diagnostic troubleshooting on MEP equipment using Building Automation Systems, Sequence of Operations, and use of a multimete
r.Ability to use power tools, safe use of ladder
s.Proven ability to work from blueprints, schematics, and diagram
s.Understanding of basic carpentry and plumbing for minor repair
s.OSHA safety training; understanding of safe EHS practices in a commercial environmen
t.Willingness to pursue additional training to support facility operation
s.Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; comfortable interacting with a broad range of internal and external stakeholder
s.Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Outlook for email, computerized work order systems, preparation of reports and spreadsheet
