Job Summary:RK Auto, a full-service automotive dealership in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the role of Express Service Consultant. This is a full-time, individual contributor position in our busy customer service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Express Service department.Compensation & Benefits:This is a salary position with a competitive compensation package ranging from $32,000 to $52,000 per year, paid on a weekly basis. In addition to a competitive salary, RK Auto also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plan options.Responsibilities:Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience with our dealershipReview and schedule service appointments for our Express Service department, utilizing our scheduling softwareCommunicate with customers about the status of their vehicle and provide accurate service time estimatesCheck in and check out customers' vehicles and accurately record service informationMaintain organized and accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactionsEducate customers on recommended maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelinesHandle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely and satisfactory resolutionsCollaborate with service technicians and other departments to ensure timely completion of service ordersAssist with the training and development of new team members in the Express Service departmentAdhere to company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulationsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in automotive technology or a related field is preferredPrevious experience in a customer service or automotive service role is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and time management abilitiesProficiency in computer applications and ability to learn new software quicklyKnowledge of automotive maintenance and repair services is preferredMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving recordEEOC statement:RK Auto is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, gender identity or expression, or veteran status.
