Expert Data Architect Remote- Only Bay Area local resources 6 months contract – Possible Extension Required: Snowflake, ETL-Datawarehouse background, Good in SQL, DataLake Experience with Healthcare or Insurance domain is must Job Description Mastery of dimensional modeling concepts, including star schema, snowflake schema, fact, and dimension tables, and slowly changing dimensions (SCDs) Mastery of designing and implementing dimensional models preferably in Insurance and/or healthcare domains. Understanding of data warehousing principles, including ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, data aggregation, and data lake design Proficiency in Snowflake data cloud and SQL experience with Oracle, SQL Server. Ability to understand and translate complex business requirements into dimensional models that meet business needs. Strong analytical skills to identify data patterns, trends, and anomalies Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, data analysts, and developers Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data modeling issues efficiently. Understanding of data governance practices and data quality management principles Experience with data modeling tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data modeling and data warehousing technologies.
