The Parts Manager leads the parts team to deliver an exceptional customer experience. The idea candidate plans, trains, leads, and monitors the performance of parts advisers and support staff to promote customer satisfaction and revenue growth. The Parts Manager must have strong managerial experience and leadership qualities to organize and motivate a team and to hold each team member accountable for outstanding performance on a daily basis. We believe in hiring great people, which means we INVEST in your future and genuinely care about our employees.Primary Responsibilities:Hire, manage, supervise and monitor the performance of the parts department personnelEstablish service objectives by facilitating and developing monthly sales and revenue goalsEnsure that parts staff keeps their skills current through manufacturer training, and on new systems and components offered by the dealership and vendorsEnsure accurate warranty procedures are followedConduct department meetings, manage efficiency and accuracyServe as a liaison between advisors, technicians and customers; and ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective serviceEnsure all required paperwork and records and preparation of documents (forms, reports, etc.) are done properly and timelyMaintain a customer follow up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfactionRequirements:A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Parts Manager or Assistant Parts Manager.Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.A high school diploma is required.Clean and valid Driver's LicenseLocation and Hours:Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot.The position requires regular and predictable attendance.
