We have exciting opportunities for experienced Machine Operators. These roles will be based in our facility in Lawton, OK and will start at $21.79/hour plus $1.00 shift differential. They will work 12-hour night shifts (9:00 pm – 9:00 am on a 2, 2, 3 continental schedule). 
Job Summary We are seeking reliable, hard-working individuals with manufacturing experience and a strong work ethic. The successful candidates will focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
Principal Responsibilities Assist in the operation of extruders and associated equipment such as hopper and material loader, extruder vacuum system, regrind loaders and carbon black feeders. Perform quality checks using micrometers, calibers, pi-tapes and tape measures. Package pipe in accurate pallet sizes and quantities and document production Use basic hand tools and operate forklift Identify, transfer, and load material for production Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions Identify, remove and report scrap in compliance with work instructions Troubleshoot problems that involve multiple-choice options and determine the most appropriate course of action Support and stay in sync with the efforts of the Joint, Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Maintain acceptable housekeeping, environmental and safe working conditions Perform a variety of other tasks as required Requirements High School diploma or certificate of completion is preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing environment; plastic experience is an asset Extrusion experience is preferred Stable work history exhibiting a commitment to a long-term career vs. job hopping Must be knowledgeable in measurement systems and basic math Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn Good team player including with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and foster a positive team environment Flexible to work 12-hour continental night shifts (84 hours bi-weekly; 9:00 pm – 9:00 am) Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and background check Working Conditions Requires good mobility and involves considerable routine walking, standing for long periods, bending, and lifting up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
