Job summary
This position provides Administrative and Dispatching support to the Environmental Services Department.Primary contact for handling daily in-bound calls, emails, and pages for coordinating EVS cleaning requests.Exemplifies OHSU mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities
• Answering and dispatching all EVS 24/hr pager requests.• Assisting with dispatching EVS techs where needed.• Managing heavy call volume through the shift.• Communicating with multiple supervisors and admin staff on multiple shifts.• Communicating in a professional manner with a wide range of individuals, including employees, patients, and their family members.• Attending Mission Control Huddle and using Epic and GE Tiles system for managing bedflow and tracking issues.• Reporting out to EVS leadership using EVS Expeditor Worksheet.• Using software to extract and manipulate data for reporting purposes.• Assisting staff compliance to standard work and submitting work orders for maintenance repairs.• Managing sensitive information regarding employees and patients at OHSU.
Requirements
• Two years of general office or secretarial experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.• Bachelor's degree and one year of general office or secretarial experience.• Bachelors Degree 1 years EVS Technician experience 1 year Lead worker experience.• 2-3 years use of a computer in a workplace setting.• 6 months-1 year Epic Experience.• Must demonstrate regular attendance and ability to work independently.• Good communication skills to interact with staff, visitors, and patients.
