Executive Chef

Block Restaurant in Provo, UT is looking for one executive chef to join our 30 person+ team. We are located on 3330 N University Ave. Our ideal candidate is a passionate, self motivated, creative, organized, and detail oriented. Responsibilities
Train and develop cooks to company standards Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards Making the schedule for BOH Devolping new recipes and dishes that change with the season; about 3-4 menu changes a year Maintaining organization and cleanliness of the kitchen Making sure our employees and guests are taken care of Qualifications
Experience working as a sous chef or chef High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume Must have experience in multiple types of cuisine Must be able to lead and teach BOH employees in a costructive manner Must know how to calculate food costing and labor spending We are looking forward to hearing from you.
