DESCRIPTION The Worldwide Consumer organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support the Director of Research Science for Amazon Transportation Services (ATS).
This position supports the ATS Research Science teams commonly referred to as mmPROS (middle mile Product, Research & Optimization Science). This organization is built on four primary pillars: surface research science (SRS), air science & tech (AST), pricing & yield management research (Middle Mile Marketplace Science - M3S) and SortTech Science (STS). The overall org consists of approximately 140 scientists, software development engineers and PMTs/ TPMs including six L8 senior principal scientists and directors. The team leads the innovation of new modeling methods, Generative AI and optimization applications, algorithms and technologies associated with supply chain logistics and transportation network design and operations (including planning, day of operations, sustainability – electric vehicle design, and dynamic network price/cost control). This Executive Assistant will be responsible for handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism in dealing with senior executives. Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars, planning and organizing events of all sizes, and coordinating domestic and international travel. This candidate will help build a positive team environment and establish working relationships inside and outside of the group.
Key job responsibilities
Manage complex calendar and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations
Manage domestic and international travel
Manage expense report coordination and submission
Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on outstanding matters.- Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on outstanding matters. as a liaison for direct reports
Work closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team

Bellevue, WA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
