Job Description SummaryThe Gas Power Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) organization is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Gas Power EHS Leader and team. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a collaborative spirit, who enjoys delivering support through standard work, this may be the role for you.This role will contribute to the Gas Power EHS Leader and team's ability to stay organized, informed and prepared for meetings. Daily activities include running regular operating rhythms, calendar management and travel arrangements, requiring strong communication skills, documentation of meeting action items, management of follow up, attention to detail, time management and organizational skill.The role requires strong presentation development skills, prioritization and the ability to manage last-minute escalations, work with remote executives and effectively partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization.The individual in this role must understand business priorities and demonstrate proactive anticipation of needs as well as drive improvements. This role requires professionalism, integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.This role will also provide backup administrative support to senior leaders in GE Vernova as needed.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities Include:Organize work in preparation for operating mechanisms and meetings including documenting meeting outcomes and follow up actions and file managementDevelop, organize, execute and assist with team activities (staff meetings; all employee meetings – in person & virtual); off-sites; and team social events/recognitionTrack and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding itemsDevelop and edit presentations for strategic, operating and financial reviewsManage complex calendar and scheduling requestsManage domestic and international travelManage expense report coordination and submissionManage team space, including moves, new hire location assignments and re-configurationsPartner with other Executive Assistants throughout the team and across the companyOrder required office supplies and equipment in coordination with other Executive AssistantsManage distribution listsFocus on process improvementCompliance with applicable safe work practicesThis is a full-time, on-site roleRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDMinimum 7 years of experience as a collaborative team oriented Executive Assistant supporting senior level leaders and their teamDesired Characteristics:Knowledge of GE policies / procedures and tools or experience in similar large company environmentsOutstanding organization skills including managing leader's meetings and prep work for those meetingsAbility to work independently and on different teamsExperience with executive level calendar managementExperience with domestic and/or international travel coordinationExperience with Microsoft Office Products, including strong proficiency in MS Excel for tracking work and MS PowerPoint for presentations.Strong communication skills including document writing, editing and readinessProject and program management including completion of deliverables, organizing events and following up on outstanding items.Creative problem solverDemonstrated ability to prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining a commitment to deadlines and long term goalsDesire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the jobExceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work in a highly ambiguous and fast-moving environmentExperience working both in-person and remote with executivesCollege DegreeBenefits Available to YouGE employees rise to the challenge of building a world that works.
