This is an entry level position with a great opportunity for growth in an exciting field and company. The perfect fit will be a dynamic, creative and experienced event professional that is able to perform multiple duties relating to producing a variety of events. This position learns the installation and dismantle process of Expo & Events.
Responsibilities: Install and dismantle of Expo & Events Work with Production Supervisors to ensure delivery of client expectations Work with Warehouse Manager to create and ensure proper equipment allocation for each event Work with facility personnel to ensure safety and compliance of rules within the facility Responsible for quality assurance Monitor and report on progress, problems and solutions Maintain a creative, solution-oriented and positive approach to all projects Resolve issues proactively Maintain quality customer service under pressure Execute schedule requirements on time and time tracking of projects Lift up to 25 lbs. and be physically active Work as part of a team Follow instructions, both written and verbal for all event projects Use good judgement while proactively problem solving Drive a forklift, scissor lift, company van or box truck as required Show a consistent willingness to work in a multitude of environments, from warehouse to upscale residences and hotels Willingness to learn and understand floorplans, graphic templates, info sheets, etc. Ability to work early morning, evenings, and weekends as the Expo and Events schedule requires ? Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver's License Clean driving record Experience in project execution, event production or warehouse operations is a plus Tradeshow and permanent installation experience Ability to work well within, and/or lead, a team setting Ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships Solution, deadline and detail-oriented Benefits of working as a Event Project Journeyman in Salt Lake City, UT:
