Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12 + month contract position.
Responsibilities: Design, develop, maintain, and test software, collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in an agile environment
Develop ETL packages using Informatica PowerCenter
Participate in ETL design of new or changing mappings and workflows with the team and prepares technical specifications
Create ETL Mappings, Mapplets, Workflows, and Worklets using Informatica PowerCenter 10.x and prepare corresponding documentation
Design and build integrations, supporting standard data warehousing objects (type-2 dimensions, aggregations, star schema, etc.).
Perform source system analysis
Work with DBAs and Data Architects to plan and implement appropriate data partitioning strategy in Enterprise Data Warehouse
Implement versioning of the ETL repository and supporting code
Load and transform data from various external sources to Relational database using Informatica
Work with complex transformations such as XML's, XML parser, Java, and HTTP transformation
Requirements: Informatica PowerCenter 10.x, Oracle 11g/12c SQL/PLSQL, AutoSys
Familiar with any version control tool
Oracle PL/SQL
Unix Concepts
Experience on SDM Adoption / Horizon onboarding tools (Bit Bucket, Datical, Jenkins)
Agile best practices
Experience designing SCD typ2 workflows
Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
