As a Estimator , you will play a pivotal role in the success of our commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of how houses come together, having transitioned from field roles to the estimating side. Estimator Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed and itemized take-offs for commercial construction projects. Handle estimating responsibilities for entire homes and communities, focusing on both base plans and customizable options. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications. Utilize a production mindset, optimizing costs while maintaining the highest standards of quality. Demonstrate a flexible and fluid approach, adapting to changing project needs and making necessary adjustments. Prioritize and multitask effectively, wearing multiple hats as needed to ensure project success. Provide expertise in understanding the full scope of construction processes, from field operations to estimating. Estimator Qualifications: 5 years of experience in construction, with a significant portion in field roles before transitioning to estimating. Proven experience in conducting itemized take-offs for residential projects, especially in the semi-custom and custom home sector. In-depth understanding of the entire construction process, from the ground up to project completion. Familiarity with commercial construction building practices. Ability to be flexible and adaptable, making adjustments as project requirements evolve. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively. Estimator Benefits :
