Blue Nest Home in Silverdale, WA is looking for part-time or full-time Home and Estate Sale Organizers who are also on call home cleaners to join our team. We are located at 10049 Kitsap Mall Blvd NW, Suite 305 Silverdale. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. Role within the company: This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. As a member of the online estate sale team, this person will work on a team to sort, catalog, and photograph home inventory for estate sales. They are also responsible for cleaning the client's home after the estate sale is complete. The home must be cleaned within provided timeline and to the specifications of each client agreement. Attention to detail is a must. Responsibilities include (not all-inclusive): Work on a team to sort, catalog, and photograph home inventory for estate sales. Pack and unpack client belongings. Care for and manage company equipment. Engage in company meetings. Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. Ensure all areas/rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards. Notify the manager of any damages, deficits, and disturbances. Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices Assist with auction buyer pick-up days as needed. Other related tasks as requested by the client or manager. Requirements and skills Ability to work individually and as part of a team. A natural instinct to organize or improve upon current systems. Have a strong interest in antiques, vintage items, second-use and resale inventory. Empathy for those who have physical and mental health challenges. Capable of handling a multitude of situations. Demonstrate an ability to transfer vision into realities. Communicate clearly, tactfully, and effectively. Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Customer-oriented and friendly Prioritization and time management skills Working quickly without compromising quality Speak English language High school degree or equivalent How we work together: We assume positive intent. Hours Depends on project workload, but typically 6 – 12 hrs/week Flexible hours Some evening hours are required during buyer pick-up days. Occasional weekend hours. (Not typical, but do occur at times) Employee Benefits 2 Hours paid leave for every 40 hours worked = up to 104 hours paid leave per year. Flexible schedule, optional time off without pay with two weeks notice. Yearly office closure between Dec 24 – January 1. Part-time employees earn up to 1 massage (with a licensed and insured massage therapist) a month; based on hours worked. (Discounts provided for family members.) Mileage reimbursement for any mileage over 40 miles per day. Payroll direct deposit: 7th & 22nd of each month. Consignment sale participation with no fee and reduced commission. .
