Es-Academic Instructor

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
Function as an Academic Instructor in a classroom setting, providing instruction in skills necessary to master academic competencies. Provides instruction, administers tests and evaluations progress understanding and proficiency in mathematics. Provide remedial materials and instruction when required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor Degree in Education and professional experience is required, at the secondary level. Concentration in Secondary (grades 9-12) is preferred. Advance degree highly desirable. Experience with at risk or culturally deprived youth is highly preferred.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
A Missouri State Teaching Certificate is required through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for grades 9-12.
A valid Regular Driver License is required.
