ROLE: Equity, Payroll and HR Operations (Sr.) Manager We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our growing team. Flexibility, interest in multiple areas, and a willingness to learn are essential qualities. This is a role that will wear a lot of hats; we don't expect candidates to have experience in all areas and are willing to train, but equity experience is our priority.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Equity Administration Partner with HR Operations, Finance, Legal, and transfer agent for all areas involving equity compensation and employee benefits. Accurate and timely processing of employee stock transactions, including grants, cancellations, stock options exercises, restricted stock unit releases and employee stock purchase plan enrollment/purchases in both Equity Edge Online/E-trade and ADP. Equity Edge Online/E-trade go to person for employee questions including trainings for our US and foreign based employees.
Human Resources and Benefits Manages and enhances on-boarding and off-boarding procedures and presents HR and benefits information to employees. Administers benefits for US-based employees, assists in the implementation of the annual benefits open enrollment process. Maintains employee HR and benefits data in internal and vendor systems and works closely with the broker and benefits vendors. Administers leave of absence and workers compensation programs. Verifies, allocates and reconciles the monthly premium statements for all insurance policies and other benefits and oversees payment of invoices.
Payroll and Accounting Prepare and process semi-monthly payrolls accurately and timely through ADP Workforce Now for 40 (and growing) US-based employees. Lead internal/external payroll audits and compliance reporting including and Workers Compensation. Perform reconciliation and analysis for all stock activity and assist with quarterly and annual agency reporting, filings, W-2 equity compensation and internal/external audit. Answer payroll, equity, and US benefits inquiries from employees, management, and internal business partners. Execute on other duties and projects, including month-end close and quarterly audit process, as needed.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Four years of equity administration, preferably with an understanding of E-trade and Equity Edge Online by Morgan Stanley. Experience with employee benefits preferred. Exposure to ADP Workforce Now is a plus. BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and/or Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification is a plus. Understanding of wages and tax laws, including Fair Labor Standards Act. Exposure to equity administration for Ex-US employees is a plus. Experience with Internal Controls under Sarbanes-Oxley Act related payroll and equity administration at public companies. Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with exceptional organizational, quantitative, and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and across all levels of the organization. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
