POSITION SUMMARY The Equipment Maintenance Technician position is responsible for routine inspection and cleaning of OzarksGo related equipment. This position requires keeping accurate digital records of all equipment. The position performs the necessary software updates and removal of account related information from returned equipment. This position will work closely with Member Relations, Warehouse Personnel, Dispatch, Tech Services and Procurement teams to maintain inventory and close Service Orders pertaining to job. This position is responsible for maintaining proper inventory counts in a warehouse, testing room, in-house and contracted technicians.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Reports To: Installation and Repair Supervisor Supervises: None MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and inspect equipment that has been returned from the field by installers or members. Move tested equipment to warehouse and facilitate stocking. Perform software updates to returned equipment to ensure field ready. Deprovision equipment utilizing system software to ensure field ready. Test equipment using hard-wired and wireless connections to ensure system integrity. Create and maintain inventory counts for returned and in stock equipment. Assist with special projects as assigned. EXTERNAL CONTACTS CPE Vendors Warehouse personnel POSITION REQUIREMENTS Education, Job Knowledge, and Training: Requires a high school diploma and one year of related experience.
Equipment Operated: Must be able to operate personal computers and related software. Must be able to use office equipment and telecommunications equipment. Must be able to operate and maintain television, internet, and telecommunication related equipment. Must have a current driver's license without violations that would prohibit insurability.
Abilities and Skills: Must be able to effectively perform all responsibilities of position. Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Physical Effort: Must be able to perform all activities listed in the job description with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to move up to 50lb boxes of equipment.
