Join Our Team: Oakhurst Equine Veterinary Services is a busy six doctor practice looking to add a full time or part time board certified or board eligible surgeon with a focus on lameness.
What we offer our clients: We offer a comprehensive range of services, encompassing sports medicine/lameness, reproduction, surgery, podiatry, dentistry, internal and preventative medicine, 24/7 emergency response, and diagnostic imaging.
Where we are located: Oakhurst sits Southwest of Portland, Oregon on a 147-acre Thoroughbred farm in the heart of the beautiful Willamette Valley wine country.  The clinic is situated within a one-hour drive to the coast or mountains, and only a few hours from the outdoor recreation mecca of central Oregon! You will find great dining, hiking, biking, skiing, watersports, golfing, fishing, and numerous other outdoor adventures readily available in the local region!

Job Requirements: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent graduate degree) from an accredited university. Oregon State License to practice veterinary medicine. Board certification or board eligible in equine surgery, with a focus on lameness. Equine medical knowledge and experience. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
