What You'll Do:
Help our clients prepare for Environmental & Disposal Liabilities (E&DL) audits with enthusiasm and expertise.
Collaborate closely with installation Points of Contact (POCs) to gather essential documentation for cleanup projects.
Dive into feasibility studies, decision documents, and contracts to uncover insights and drive progress.
Craft annual Cleanup Cost-to-Complete (CTC) estimates across various commands, ensuring accuracy and alignment with quality standards.
Apply your audit principles knowledge to enhance processes and practices related to E&DL.
Assist with financial reporting data calls and perform year-over-year variance analysis to support decision-making.
Contribute to the refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Bring your problem-solving skills to the table, tackling complex challenges with creativity and determination.
What You'll Need:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental cleanup, CTC estimation, federal financial management, or DoD audit readiness.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe.
US Citizenship and CONUS location.
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree in Environmental Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
Operational understanding or experience with environmental and disposal liabilities.
Familiarity with DoD financial management policies and procedures.
Knowledge of environmental regulations such as CERCLA and RCRA.
Specialized certifications (e.g., CPA, CGFM, CDFM) or equivalent.
Familiarity with Environmental Database of Record.

Typing and reading from a computer screen.
Mobility for bending, reaching, and kneeling.
Possible moderate to long-distance walking.
