Currently hiring multiple long term openings in a medical laboratory doing human specimen processing and sorting. This is in an entry-level role (no degree needed) and will be responsible for sorting, processing, and documentation for various human specimen. An ideal candidate will have consistent job experience and experience in a fast paced work environment or in a medical/health field.
The openings are night shift and can include overtime . This position will see between 40 to 50 hours a week. Job Description: Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems. Send test requests to proper location and release test results. Assist clients with any specimen related requests or inquires. Process specimens to be sent out to additional facilities. Provide support to various areas of the laboratory. Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving. Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Must have prior work experience, but can be from variety of industries. Industries can include a warehouse, manufacturing, fast food, retail, or medical/healthcare setting. A high school degree or GED is required for this position.
