Job Description AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Architecture Designer for it's Washington DC / Arlington, VA offices.
This position is expected to begin May or June 2024. 
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing basic architectural calculations. Preparing and reviewing drawings as required. Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets. May coordinate technical assignments with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project. Participate in fieldwork and construction administration services. Use current software platforms (including Revit) to develop contract documents, 3D models and presentations. Prepare documentation regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, or construction time. Maintain conformance with building standards, established architectural practices, and applicable building codes. Work on a multi-disciplinary team with architects and engineers delivering all phases of exciting architectural projects in a variety of markets. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Preferred Qualifications : Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrates the ability to prioritize tasks daily. Ability to work efficiently and effectively within a team environment. Excellent 2D and 3D visual / graphic & design skills. Experience with the following is a plus: BIM-Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Bluebeam Revu, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Sketchup Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications , experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position typically is $ 28 - $33/hour.
