Position Summary Under general supervision, the position is responsible for: managing the Bureau's Publishing Section database systems, reviewing, and monitoring the day-to-day activity of all the section's billing and inventory systems, overseeing the month-end billing reconciliation processes, providing data technology needs of the Bureau and agency customers and providing dedicated customer service.
The Bureau of Publishing and Distribution operates 24 hours per day, 5 days per week. BPD is responsible for providing high volume/low-cost printing and mailing solutions to all state agencies, the Governor's Office, and the Legislature throughout the State of Wisconsin.

Salary Information Starting salary for the IS Enterprise Data Services Professional (07-35) will be between $23.94 - $37.00 hourly. This position is is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.
Job Details Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and/or background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.

Qualifications Minimally qualified candidates will have experience with the following: Maintaining databases such as identifying and diagnosing problems, providing technical support, evaluating software upgrades and integration impacts, or similar. Billing systems such as receiving and sorting incoming payments, auditing monthly reports, or similar. Work order creation and job engineering within a high-volume print and mail operation.
