SUMMARY: The hourly ESL Paraprofessional pay rate to work on assignment in Oxford Area School District is $19 per hour The ESL Paraprofessional position will work 5.5 paid hours per day / 160 days per year Bilingual English/Spanish - preferred CURRENT ESL PARAPROFESSIONAL NEEDS: Nottingham Elementary School Penn's Grove Middle School Oxford Area High School The ESL Paraprofessional enhances the ESL program by supporting and working with students and school staff to perform all duties with accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism. ESL Paraprofessional coordinates with teacher to deliver content instruction. Will coordinate with the ESL and content area teachers in the delivery of English language and content instruction. This position supports ESL students in the acculturation process and assists with translation and interpretation materials.
