Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:This Technician will be part of the Electrical Engineering Lab and will be responsible for testing, programming, and troubleshooting transmitters and receivers to support activities within Dexcom's R&D Labs. This engineer will gain a wide spectrum of experience, from developing and improving equipment used in the hardware development cycle to creating and implementing business processes that enable R&D to operate in a manner. In supporting team objectives this engineer will have an opportunity to learn from a wide range of Senior and Staff engineers across a variety of engineering disciplines, with limitless room for technical and career growth.Where you come in:You will manage test various configurations of Dexcom transmitters.You manage program and configure various transmitters and receivers.You will collaborate with engineers to provide input on testing strategies for transmitters and receivers. You will perform activities in the functioning, programming and integration of computer controlled equipment, processes and/or electronics. You design and implement support engineering development projects including assembly and test.You will create maintenance documents and replacement parts and work with manufacturers tomaintainequipment, processes and/or electronics in a safe and functional condition.Perform all assignedtaskwithappropriate safetyprecautions.What makes you successful:You are extremely detailed oriented.You bring a demonstrated history of strong problem-solving skills.You have the ability to quickly switch between different priority tasks to theeverchangingR&Denvironment.You possess strong written and verbal communication Skills. The R&D process is an extremely collaborativeprocessso it is critical that you are able communicate clearlyto encourage that collaborative environment and to ensure work is done correctly and efficiently.You are proficiencyin Microsoft Office and Google SuitesYou are familiarwithAdvancedWindows functionality (Device Manager, Disk Management, Event Viewer, MS DOS,etc.)You have network troubleshooting experience.What you'll get:A front row seat to life changing CGM technology.
