Adecco Permanent Placement has teamed with a top manufacturing client to find a Full-Time Engineering Lab Technician in Nashville, TN (Mount Juliet area). The Engineering Lab Tech will provide essential support and input to the evaluation and development of new products.

The ideal candidate will excel in sheet metal layout and fabrication, welding, soldering, machining, and safety/regulatory testing of consumer products.

Key Responsibilities include:
Perform sheet metal layout, fabrication, welding, soldering, and machining tasks.

Conduct safety and regulatory testing of consumer products according to established standards.

Review project instructions and prints to verify test specifications, procedures, objectives, and technical requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering team to identify and troubleshoot technical issues and propose solutions.

Observe, record, and analyze test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards.

Build prototypes and test equipment to support product development initiatives.

Interact with external test agency representatives and assist in coordinating testing activities.

Other tasks as necessary.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a relevant field

3+ years of relevant experience

At least 1 year of experience in a test lab environment, working with test equipment and conducting quality tests.

Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, welding, soldering, and machining techniques.

Understanding of safety protocols and regulatory requirements for consumer products.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and instructions.

Our client offers:
Salary in the 50k-55k range
