What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Collaborate closely with R&D, manufacturing, and product management teams to ensure that the A-Class surfacing meets customer needs and market requirements. Work closely with architects and engineers to integrate conceptual designs with technical requirements. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and customers, to enhance collaboration and achieve mutual success. Monitor and analyze market trends and emerging technologies, enabling the company to anticipate industry developments and proactively adapt our surfacing strategies. Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require in-office work and occasional attendance at other in-person meetings and events. The role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI.

Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. 4+ years of experience in A-Class surfacing design. In-depth understanding of A-Class surfacing design principles, as well as familiarity with relevant technologies and industry standards. Proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA or Siemens NX, and A-Class surfacing software, such as ICEM Surf. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, enabling effective collaboration and team management. Strategic thinking ability to make informed decisions that align with the company's goals and objectives. Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight deadlines. The salary range listed represents the maximum and minimum starting base pay for this position as of the time of posting. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000 - $130,000
