This position will be responsible for the design and implementation of the controls portion of improvement projects. This includes monitoring and interpreting KPI related to assigned responsibilities and planning a priority-based approach to the continuous improvement of the assembly line. Developing and updating documentation used to control the process performance and assisting process technicians in troubleshooting process issues.
Job Responsibilities :
Analyze plant processes, design, and implement improvements. Monitoring, interpreting, and reporting KPI for assigned responsibilities (OEE, Machine Uptime, Defects, Etc.). Support plant maintenance staff in the event of a down machine. Support the cross functional improvement teams as needed. Qualifications:
3+ Year's experience with PLC/HMI programming (Keyence/Allen Bradley/Proface preferred) 3+ Year's experience programming multi-axes robots and liner actuators (Fanuc/Yamaha preferred) Experience with barcode reading and vision systems (Keyence/Cognex preferred) Excellent problem-solving skills with a good attitude. Excellent communication skills Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines. Ability to make quick, accurate, data driven decisions. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Computer proficiency with both personal computers and manufacturing systems. Ability and willingness to train other associates. Ability to model and willingness to support the corporate culture in an ethical manor Excellent project management skills. Education: 4-year degree in manufacturing, electrical, or mechanical engineering or related field..
Experience: Experience with continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
