What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Support execution of various E/E integration activities on test benches and lab cars. Develop test cases according to defined vehicle requirements. Implement test scripts using Vector Tools i.e. (CANalyzer, CANoe, and CAPL) and National instruments tool chains. Prepare, plan, configure and perform E/E Integration verification and validation testing onsite and at external test facilities. Validate electrical connections and network communication protocols i.e. Ethernet, CAN/CANFD, LIN between vehicle's controllers Work with wire harness engineers on the implementation of electrical system architecture for lab cars and electric vehicles. Work with systems and diagnostic systems engineers on E/E integration tasks. Support prototype vehicle builds, vehicle bring-up, and testing. Review vehicle log data and support issue resolution. Support OTA upgrades and deployment. Support product launch activities. Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or a related field. 4+ years of experience in automotive ECU integration. Experience with Vector tool suite including CANalyzer, CANoe, CAPL scripting, and vFlash. Experience using standard E/E lab equipment (oscilloscope, multimeters, function generators, etc.) and understanding of E/E wiring schematics. Electric vehicle systems and hands-on E/E integration testing experience. Experience using JIRA or equivalent for problem tracking and resolution. Motivation to make complicated systems work together. Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within established timelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $110,000-$130,000
