Volt is immediately hiring an Eng Tech Intern/Co-op in Irvine, CA with a well-known industry leader. In this Role you will work on operational process and projects focused on improvement of product design documentation and loading specifications into new databases. This project will involve heavy collaboration with Senior Packaging Engineers, along with partnering with Marketers and Manufacturing Engineers to clarify and or establish documentation.
This is a first shift hybrid role, must be local to be available for meetings and able to work at least 20-30 hrs. per week. As an Eng Tech Intern you will: Join an exciting and fast growing business, rapidly evolving to meet the needs of the newest generation of automotive enthusiasts! Work with documentation for primary and Secondary Packaging design specifications Complete Finished product customer performance expectations Document tools and Accessory design specifications Log Chemical regulatory data
Estimated Duration 12+ months.
The ideal candidate will have:
* 2+ years of post-secondary education in a qualified college degree program
* Ability to clearly communicate and translate complex technical information clearly and succinctly
Preferred academic majors include:
o Engineering (any)
o Science (Chemistry, Physics, Math, Statistics, Biology, or similar)

Pay Rate: $19.08 hr.
