About the RoleiCapital is looking to hire an Employment Attorney Senior Vice President to join the Legal team. The ideal candidate can work globally across all Human Resources (HR) related functions, help manage external contractual relationships, and supervise outside counsel. Expertise in employee relations, compensation, benefits, HR compliance, litigation management and transactional matters is essential. This role will work closely with both our General Counsel, our Chief People Officer, and other attorneys within our Legal group.
ResponsibilitiesWork with HR to resolve disciplinary, work performance and policy related issues.Negotiate offer letters and separation and release agreements globally.Help establish and hire a broad range of international offices.Conduct internal investigations with respect to employee allegations and claims.Supervise HR related claims and litigation and interface with the relevant insurers.Organize workers compensation insurance globally.Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of Human Resources related contracts.Perform ad hoc research projects as needed.Work on additional corporate generalist and contractual matters as needed.Qualifications6+ years of relevant experience within a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a technology or financial services firm, or within a related industryMember in good standing of the New York or Connecticut Bar or another state or jurisdictionStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsWilling to learn new topics and work in an evolving business environmentOrganized and detailed oriented with big picture capabilityFamiliar with technology companies is a plusBenefitsThe base salary range for this role is $250,000 to $280,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
