Join a leading organization in the solar industry as a Benefits Director based in Allenwood. In this role, you will oversee the coordination, implementation, and communication of our comprehensive benefit programs, including 401(k) administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing employee benefits, including COBRA, FMLA, and short-term disability, with a deep understanding of federal and state regulations.
Roles & Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day administration of all employee benefits across corporate operations, including Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, 401(k), Life Insurance, and Disability.
Collaborate on employee communications related to benefit programs.
Recommend benefits programs based on employee requirements, market conditions, and cost analysis.
Reconcile benefits accounts by approving billing statements.
Conduct annual open enrollment across multiple locations.
Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, PPACA, and COBRA.
Maintain accurate benefit recordkeeping and system updates.
Audit HR, Benefit, and Workers' Compensation data for accuracy.
Administer 401(k) plans, including employee meetings and processing.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field; equivalent experience considered. 5-7 years of hands-on experience in HR/benefits and 401(k) administration. Strong prioritization and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment. Knowledge of payroll and benefit administration best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with Paycom ATS or similar systems preferred. Experience in FMLA and leave management. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Familiarity with voluntary benefits programs and cost-sharing models. Multi-state and federal employee leave administration experience.
