Arc Health is actively seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians to provide emergency medicine care at comprehensive Indian Health Service facilities in the Southwest. Our partner facility serves a rural and underserved community in Polacca, AZ. We are urgently hiring qualified candidates for locum tenens positions.

Practice Description: Typical number of patients per day: 10-12 EMR: RPMS Schedule: Flexible5-7 shifts a month for 1 year or 6 months at minimum Local housing provided by Arc Health Travel Stipends; Holiday/Summer bonuses, Locums/1099 provider; employed by Arc Health/Native Arc Requirements: Board-certified in Emergency Medicine or Eligible by ABEM ATLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS certification Active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory No lapse in practice > 6 months leading up to assignment Minimum of 1 year experience About the Location and Culture: Polacca, AZ, offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in strong Navajo and Hopi cultural traditions. The communities provide an opportunity to learn the Navajo and Hopi languages, as well as traditional Native American medicine practices.
