ROLE DESCRIPTION:BizBuySell is seeking a talented email marketing specialist to work on both B2B and B2C email campaigns. This person will work on multiple email projects from setup and launching to testing and analysis. We are looking for a person who is passionate about email and is excited to test new ideas. Qualified candidates will be comfortable working on several projects at once in a fast-paced environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform day-to-day email marketing tasks including email calendar management, campaign set-up, designing, scheduling, testing, and deploying newsletters, automated campaigns, and client sponsored emails. Build, test and deploy email campaigns including editing copy, layout, links, and complex dynamic and personalized content. Maintain QA process to ensure all communications are brand complaint, deployed on time and without error. Coordinate with design team to develop and hand code responsive email campaigns from design to html. Work with developers and/or SQL to create customer segments, suppression lists, imports, exports, and working with third party vendors to ensure ongoing data hygiene. Assist with implementing and executing marketing automation campaigns to drive increases in qualified leads for sales. Build and deploy series of weekly static campaigns in support of advertising solutions team. Identify opportunities to improve existing and develop new email campaigns that drive engagement and revenue. Create standardized templates and other assets for ease of campaign management, including templates to be utilized by sales team. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, college or university.A track record of commitment to prior employees.2+ years of experience in an email marketing role, building and designing email templates and programs, with strong HTML/CSS skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Photoshop. Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM, CASL, email best practices, including design principles, metrics, data hygiene, and compliance. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Pardot, or similar. Basic knowledge of SQL and or SQL Server Management Studio. Experience in Google Analytics. Experience with SurveyMonkey and survey building a plus. Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines for time sensitive assignments. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of management, able to take direction well and yet function independently and as part of a team.
