Rondout School District 72 (USDOE Blue Ribbon School District) seeks an innovative, professional educator licensed to teach English Language Learners(ELL) and Special Education beginning in the 24-25 school year.  Rondout is a one school public school district serving 155 students in grades K-8. Committed to excellence, the district focuses on Academics, Life Skills, and the Arts as the foundation of its educational program. Located on a five-acre campus with opportunities for integrating learning in nature, Rondout 's mission includes a strong emphasis on meeting the needs of the whole child, differentiated instruction and includes both digital and traditional learning experiences. An experienced and collaborative faculty creates a unique professional learning community with opportunities for professional growth and advancement. This in-person position begins in August 2024 and  is full time. The position includes assessment and instruction of ELL students and working with students with IEP's who are mainstreamed into the general education program.  Valid Illinois licensure is required including both ELL and LBS1 certifications; relevant experience preferred.
