Elementary Strings Teacher

Description: Elementary Strings Teacher 1.0 FTE (position is split across buildings) Duties: Plan for and teach ensembles, and small group lessons for stringed instruments; employ a variety of instructional strategies to ensure that students meet content standards and acquire essential skills and understandings in stringed music; select developmentally appropriate music for ensembles; employ an assessment plan which informs instruction and assesses student skills in music. Qualifications: Must be eligible for State of CT certification in Music; Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Music with concentration in Strings. Training in Suzuki method preferred. Salary: $53,818 - $110,029 depending upon education and experience Application Procedure:
