Location: Gulfport, MS
S2Technologies is seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to support the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC), Naval Construction Group 2 (NCG2).
Job Responsibilities:
•Meet with Equipment WCS to update the equipment status.
•Perform necessary 3M maintenance actions on all applicable equipment; document in SKED as required.
•Apply policies and directives prescribed by higher authority. Read, interpret and ensure compliance with publications, instructions, notices, local directives and changes thereto as appropriate in accordance with 3M.
•Support daily work center day to day operations by performing 3M maintenance work, phone calls, emails, and or attending meetings.
•Support NCG2's 5 ECD subordinate units with assistance/guidance on communications equipment maintenance (3M Program) IAW 4790, Organizational Maintenance Management Systems-Next Generation (OMMS-NG), and SKED.
•Review, verify, and approve weekly reports originated within the Work Center.
•Perform necessary 3M for AN/PRC-152 maintenance (AN/PRC-152 Series Radio Set, AN/VRC-110 (V) 1 Vehicular Radio Communications System).
•Perform necessary 3M for AN/PRC-117G maintenance (AN/PRC-117G Series Radio Set (RT 1949(P) (C)/PRC and RF-300M-MP), AN/VRC-114 (V) Series Vehicular Radio Communications System, RF-7800M-V120 20W Multiband Vehicular Adapter Amplifier, RF-7800M-V150 50W Multiband Vehicular Adapter Amplifier, RF- 7800M-V250 DUAL 50W Multiband Vehicular Adapter Amplifier, RF-300M-V255 DUAL 50W Multiband Vehicular Adapter Amplifier Manpack/Handheld, RF-7800M-AD250 DUAL Multiband Vehicular Adapter 50/20W Manpack Configuration).
•Perform necessary 3M for AN/PRC-157 maintenance (AN/PRC-157 Series Radio Set).
•Perform necessary 3M for RF-310 maintenance (RF-310 Series Radio Set).
•Perform necessary 3M for AN/PRC-160 maintenance (AN/PRC-160 Series Radio Set, AN/VRC-104 (V) 1, 2, 3, 4 Vehicular Radio Communications System).
•Perform necessary 3M for HF Base Station (201) maintenance.
•Perform necessary 3M for Power Supply maintenance (RF-5051-PS/RF-5054-PS Power Supply).
•Perform necessary 3M for antenna maintenance (NSW Communications Antenna).
•Perform necessary 3M for Uninterrupted Power Supply (Universal Power System 2000TR-IV) battery load capacity.
•Perform necessary 3M for PYQ-10 maintenance (Security Equipment Systems, Simple Key Loader).
•Perform necessary 3M for KIK-11 maintenance (Security Equipment Systems, KIK-11 Tactical Key Loader).
•Perform necessary 3M for PSN-13 maintenance.
•Perform necessary 3M for misc. Shore Equipment maintenance.
•Perform necessary 3M for Motorola ISM Cellular Satellite Phone.
•Perform necessary 3M for Test Equipment Maintenance.
•Access SKED and assist WCS to document accomplishment/non-accomplishment of all 3M maintenance requirements.
Experience:
•4 years of experience in 3M workstation and user operator experience for tactical communications equipment.
•Technical writing experience in tactical communications equipment.
•4 years of experience with Technical Manuals; Communication Information System Manuals, Tactical Communication Manuals; and directives, instructions, and/or procedures.
•3 years of experience in managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, exercising initiative in gathering, assembling, collating, and analyzing information for the completion of projects.
•3 years of experience in customer service.
•Experience in performing Level I and Level II 3M maintenance on tactical radio systems.
Electronics Technician
•High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent
