The Electronic Resources Librarian is part of the Technical Services Division of the Tulane University Libraries and is responsible for activities associated with access and management of the libraries' e-resources. The incumbent collaborates closely with acquisitions and other ERM staff to ensure seamless access to online resources. The position is responsive to all TUL librarians and staff to ensure and promote the discovery of the libraries' electronic resources. The incumbent is responsible for authentication and troubleshooting resources with vendors and TU Information Technology. The incumbent prepares procedures and guidelines for e-resource management and provides leadership in developing, delivering, and assessing collections of electronic resources and investigates future directions and developments in ERM.
