Position : Electrical Technician
Location : Charleston, WV
Compensation : $80-100K (includes bonus and profit sharing) Responsibilities :
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on steel mill equipment and systems
Propose and implement innovative solutions to challenges in the steel making process
Demonstrate the ability to understand and apply electrical schematics
Demonstrate knowledge of hydraulics/pneumatics, centralized lubrication systems, alignments, power transmission, and pumps/piping (for mechanical techs)
Demonstrate knowledge of high and low voltage electrical systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, AC/DC variable freq drives, and motors & controls systems (for electrical techs)
Train teammates on new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment
Build a strong safety culture through implementation of safety protocols with high levels of integrity and ownership in everything you do
Requirements :
Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance/electrical experience.
Fundamental Mechanical/Electrical Theory knowledge
Experience Troubleshooting Systems
